NPR Rendering

This is an NPR Rendering. Done during the pre-aslii shader in Maya 7.0. It was actually a simple Maya Rendering with two very simple object. No Polygons. The shader used was a Tomcat Shader that uses PaintFX for borders and some simple filler.

I did this firstly because I need to do some hand drawn flower pattern and since fate decided that I was not to be very good with pencils and hand drawing. I did the next best thing that I could ever do. Render it out.

So, this is the test render of that effort and as it turns out, it looked too good while at the same time, creating 20 different flower took too long to do. Due to the need to get it done in a few hours.

I know now I should've used the Dosch DVD. :D LOL :D but then again, the flowers are predefined in the pattern that I need to do. Thus, Corel Draw to the rescue. With Vector drawing, I could master the art of sketching without the need to repetitively draw straight line and shade with pencil which I've always thought a waste of time better spent with playing Time Crisis III.
