Coconut Island

This is a quick rendering of Coconut Island. A quick test for terrain generation. That small dirt in the middle. It also tests for a quick ocean. That's a real fluid effects dynamics. The lighting is an inverse Global Illumination, better known as Final Gather. Using HDRI sunlight. The water is reflective of the light and island and skies that you can see the reflection of the stuff and shadow's received and reflected correctly. The only thing not calculated in this scene is caustics. Mainly because it'd take too long to render and another is because the reflectivity would essentially negate any caustics you can see under the sea. In oceanic photography, the water ripple and reflected light would cover whatever expensive caustic calculation. The sky is blue dome of sky with the HDRI and the cloud is actually a dynamic cloud with some fog at the back.

The coconut tree, however, is not paintFX but instead, a real 3D object.
