Domed Frame Structure

Darn this thing is huge. It's like 4 feet in diameter and they wanted it photographed that makes it life size.
It was hand made out of aluminum. Part of a model for a bird sanctuary in a zoo. I decided to get a quick pic as a memento. (they got their large-lookin' dome pic) The rest of the model wasn't as impressive. It was just a regular zoo around this thing.

Btw, we dropped the thing when we tried to move it to the photography table and it's got a huge dent on the bottom.
Don't tell anyone.

Softimage is definitely not the way to go. While it has a ton of easy to use stuff, it's still a lot stiffer than maya. There's a reason for being a defacto standard, you know.
Anyway, here's one thing I rendered a while ago that I posted to DA:
